In general, the highest rates of crime were in burglary and car theft while robbery had a much lower rate of crime. However, the number of incidents in robbery and car theft fluctuated over the time frame whereas one in burglary declined dramatically.
First of all, the figure of car thefts and robberies stayed almost the same from 2010 to 2019, standing at around 2500 and 800 incidents in term. Nevertheless, between 2013 and 2016, the crime rate in car theft witnessed a slight decrease by approximately 500 incidents, then recovered and leveled off in 2019. Regarding the number of burglary incidents, although it was significantly high in 2010, hit 3500 incidents in that year, the next five-year period saw a remarkable drop in the crime rate, from more than 3500 to 1000 incidents. From 2016 onwards, it remained steady at fewer than 1500 incidents each year.
