The column chart illustrates the amount of global mobile phone sales by 5 different brands, include: Samsung, Apple, Nokia, LG and GTE in three years: 2009, 2011 and 2013.
Overall, it is noticeable that Samsung and apple increased significantly in the number of sales after this period, the same as GTE but in a higher rate. In contrast, the number of Nokia and LG mobile phones being sold were fewer than it used to be, especially Nokia declined in a peak since 2011.
As can be seen obviously, in 2009, the quantity of phones sales by Samsung stand out compared to other companies, at about 250 millions. after the period of 2 years each, it rose constantly at nearly 100 units and finally ranked first in 2013, at over 400 millions, which was about 200 millions over Nokia, the second rank of total in this year. In a similar way, although ZTE and apple ranked last during 4 years, they went up steady in a small rate until staying at about 50 millions and 150 millions respectively in the last year.
Conversely, Nokia and LG were two companies whose amount of global sales decreased. LG went down significantly the first two years, which was about 20 millions less than the initial year, while Nokia declined in a peak from over 410 millions to 250 millions at last.
