The bar chart illustrates the percentages of global population and distribution of wealth by 8 regions all around the world. Overall, North America has the highest gap between the population and global wealth percentages. The highest population and global wealth are reported in China and Europe respectively.

Regionally, China has the highest population between the other regions, with almost a quarter of world’s population. Other Asia Pacific and Europe have a similar number of populations, with just over 15% of the world's population. Followed by Europe, Africa, Latin America & Carribean, and North America with 15%, 10%, around 8%, and more than 5% in succession. The region with the least population is Rich Asia-Pacific, with only 5%.

According to the graph, the highest global wealth percentage is North America, with just below 35%. Followed by Europe and Rich Asia-Pacific with 30% and less than 25% successively. China, Other Asia Pacific, China, Latin America & Carribean have the same percentages of global wealth, with roughly 3%. The lowest percentages of global wealth are in India and Africa, which are approximately 2%.
