You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.
You took your family to a nearby restaurant. You were disappointed with the meal and wish to complain to the manager. Write a letter to the manager of the restaurant.

explain why you were at the restaurant
describe the problems
write about the action you want the manager to take
You do NOT need to write your own address.
Begin your letter as: Dear Sir or Madam,
You should write at least 150 words.
Hello Mr. Watson,
This letter regards my disapproval for the dinner I had with my wife yesterday at your 'Grand Hyatt' restaurant in Padder Street.
I want to state that yesterday was my 25th Anniversary where My wife and I were expecting no less than a perfect meal and the greatest time together. Needless to say, it was an extraordinary occasion for us as it brought our silver anniversary but to say the least we were severely disappointed.
To begin with, there was a shortage of waiters and we needed to wait for a good long 45min. Once a waiter arrived, he was extremely rude to my wife. He was in a rush to serve another customer and was just not paying any heed to us which was extremely disturbing. Despite all this, when finally food arrived after another wait for 35 min, it was incomplete and raw. It was so disheartening to see our anniversary getting ruined which could have been the best day of our lives.
I would sincerely hope that you would take immediate actions to work towards customer hospitability for your restaurant. You must run a beginners class for all waiters for basic etiquette and manners. They should be taught to behave much more politely and patiently with all customers.
I seriously hope that all this makes sense to you and you start looking into immediate actions. Though it has left a sour taste in our hearts but it would save you lots of future customers.
Thanks,
Jack Nicolson
