The graph illustrates how many people visited an island in Caribbean from 2010 to 2017 and how many of them would stay on their ships or the island. Overall, the number of visitors coming to the island increased throughout the period.
Initially, the quantity of tourists at Caribbean island who preferred to stay on their ships was smaller than those who chose to stay on island. In the following year, these figures nearly met each other at about 0.6 visitors before turning into different directions. Between 2011 and 2015, a gradually increasing number was witnessed on people accommodating on island whereas cruise ships reached a low point at approximately 0.2 visitors before climbing dramatically.
Furthermore, between 2015 and 2016, there was a similarity in the number of tourists who either stayed on board or island, at just below 1.5 visitors. Afterwards, the option of having a stay on the island was not as much preferable as the other, at exactly 1.5 visitors and 2 visitors respectively. Despite that, the total number of people coming to visit the Caribbean island saw significant rise, beginning at 1 visitor in 2010 and finishing at 3.5 visitors in 2017.
