The line graph compares the figures for wheat exports in Australia, Canada, and the European Community over six consecutive years.
From a general perspective, it is clear that Australia and Canada trends were reasonably converse with a gradual decline in the former and a slight climb in the latter. Moreover, the number of Canadian exports fluctuated between 1985 and 1990 and reached a plateau in 1998.
In terms of Australia, despite a minimal increase, it decreased progressively since 1986 and touched the lowest point of 10 million in 1990. Conversely, it was also the year that the European Community witnessed a peak of 21 million after a rapid recovery.
Turning to Canada, This nation’s exports vary over time. Standing at nearly 20 million in 1985, it dropped by 8 million in the following year. Compared to the European Community, Canada’s increase was much higher and pushed the statistics to a record high of 25 million in 1988. However, the year 1989 marked the point at which European Community overtook that for Canada
