The pie charts give explanations for people's choice between cycling and driving to work.
Overall, most cyclists argue for their option in view of health and fitness and less pollution. Meanwhile, comfort is the determining factor making people opt for driving to workplace.
In details, 60% of bicycle travellers commute to work by it inasmuch as they take their constitution and the bicycle's eco-friendliness into account. Meanwhile, 15% of cyclists assume that they will come up against no parking problems. Others, however, believe that bicycles include no costs(13%) and they are faster than cars(12%).
On the other hand, two-fifth of car users suppose that cars offer them comfort, which is almost double the rate of drivers whose home is far from workplace. Faster than cycling and carrying things to work are the primary reasons for 28% of people, 14% on each. Finally, 11% of people driving to work regard the car as a safer means of transport compared to bicycles.
