The diagram illustrates the process that is used to manufacture bricks for the building industry.
The diagram depicts the way in which bricks are produced for the building industry
Overall, the process consists of 2 main stages, commencing with clay being digged and culminating in delivery
To begin, the clay used to make the bricks is dug up from the ground by a large digger. This clay is then placed onto a metal grid, which is used to break up the clay into smaller pieces, with assists of a roller. Following this, a combination of sand and water is added to the clay, the mixture is then formed into bricks by either placing it into a mould or using a wire cutter.
The bricks are then put into an oven to dry for 24 to 48 hours before undergoing a heating and cooling process. They are heated in a kiln at a moderate temperature of around 200C to 980C, which is then risened to a higher level, at between 870C to 1300C. Afterwards, these bricks are moved to a cooling chamber and stay there for 2 to 3 days prior to being packaged and subsequently delivered to constructions
