The line graph compares the amount of acid in the mouth after consuming three types of sweet, which can cause toothache, based on pH values
Overall, after 5 minutes of being eaten, all of these sweet foods will cause higher acidity in the mouth, with reductions in pH and higher chances of tooth decay then end up with the same pH values after two-fifth of an hour
Regarding the first 5 minutes, all kinds of sweet significantly decline in their pH levels at which level toothache occurs with no more than 5pH. After another 5 minutes, while fruit and cane sugar's pH witness approximately 0.5pH increase, the figure for honey remains the same.
There is a similar upward trend recorded in the production of acid in the mouth of people who eat fruit and cane sugar in later minutes until they join together at their beginning pH level of 7pH, which people are unlikely to have tooth decay. On the other hand, honey's acidity rises more radically from 10 minutes to 25 minutes after being eaten with a growth of around 2.5 pH, then it stays unchanged before reaching the same pH level as others at the end
