The chart below shows the number of girls per 100 boys enrolled in different levels of school education.
The given bar chart illustrates how many girls per 100 boys went to three types of school education, namely primary, secondary and tertiary education in two years: 1990 and 1998.
Overall, it is clear that there was a gradual increase in the number of female students in all three mentioned level of eduacation during the period. Moreover, it can be seen that there was more female students enrolled school in developed countries than in developing ones.
In developing, it was witnessed a slight growth in the number of girls per 100 boys entered school. From 1990 to 1998, this number went up from 83 to 87 in primary school, from 72 to 82 in secondary school and for tertiary school, this figure rose by 9 students.
In term of developed country, the data was much bigger than the other countries. The number of female students per 100 male ones climbed slightly from 95 to 96, from 98 to 99 and from 205 to 112 in primary, secondary and teriary education perspectively. In addtion, the figure in teriary education in developed countries was the only one achieved the target of 100 students.
