The line graph presents the Australian teenagers’ habit of fast food consumption between 1975 and 2000. As can be seen, the trend of fish and chips was downward, while those of hamburgers and Pizza were upward.
Starting at 100 times in 1975, the consumption of fish and chips had an upward fluctuation between 1975 and 1985. However, the figure suddenly declined to under 40 times during the period from 1985 to 2000. On the other hand, there was a significant increase in the number of hamburgers was eaten between 1975 and 1985. And the figure climbed until it surpassed that of fish and chips in 1985. In the rest of the period, it continued to grow slightly and reached the peak of over 100 times. On the other side, the consumption rate of pizza witnessed a gradual rise from under 10 times to over 60 times between 1975 and 1990, and then the rate exceeded that of fish and chips. In the second half of the period, it continued to rise and then remained steady at over 80 times.
