The map illustrate the layout of a small town called Islip at the present and shown its changes facilities in the future.
According to the plan for its development, this small town will change dramatically. More amenities will be constructed and the town center will be modified with more facilities.
Currently, there have a main road from west to east, with two short lanes down from the south, one of which leads to school and another leads to the park. Between two lanes, there are a few shops along both sides of the road. In the south of this main road, there are residential areas, and a countryside area in the north.
The plan is change the layout into a circle area for pedestrian only, which will be covered by a dual carriage way. Following the map, the countryside and some shops in the north will be discarded, replaced by the appearance of bus station, the shopping center and car park. Although the north has a big change, everything remains the same in the south. The school will remain unchanged outside the circle but a park is planned to be relocated inside the pedestrian area. Beside that, there are some new housing on which the land in the north.
