Overall, over the span of two years, the number of tourists and revenue earned from it increased significantly where only Chaina showed a different trend. it is also seen that France is the most popular tourist destination among the five places. However, The highest revenue was made by the USA.
From a detail analysis, in 2012, 83 million people visited France but later in 2013 this figure rose dramatically to 94.7 million which is around 12 million more visitors. The same trend was followed by the rest of the countries except Chaina. Where the numbers for the USA and Spain increased approximately 3 millions and Italy saw around a 2 millions rise, Chaina experienced a decline which from 57.7 millions in 2012 to 56.7 millions in 2013.
On the other hand, the figure for the tourist spendings in USA was 126.2 billions in 2012 and later in 2013, with an increasement of around 9 billion dollars, it stood at 139.6 billions. Sabsequently, France, Spain and Itali witnessed the similar trend saw a rise near about 2 to 4 billions over the time. Interestingly, inspite of a decline in number of tourists, China earned almost 2 billion more money than the previous year.
