Percentages of U.S adults who are worried about their exposure to the coronavirus in February and March
The percentage of US residents who are concerned about becoming infected with the coronavirus are presented in the bar chart.
Overall, the number of citizens in the US who have worriedness in February more than in March, tending to upward trend. Moreover, the biggest proportion came from the group of democrats and Women group.
In February, Women and aged 18-29 groups were become the most people who were worried about coronavirus infection, remaining the same percentage with two-fifths. This figure was followed by Overall groups with 36% and others groups which were Republicans, Men, and Aged 65+, showing the same level with less than a third. The lowest number of anxious people was from the Democrats with only 26%.
In March, the amounts of anxiousness among Democrat’s group rose enormously from 26% to 73%, being the highest and this increase also happened in all groups. Futhermore, the woman and overall proportions who were worried about this issue increased with 62% and 60% respectively, while the quantity of Men, middle aged, and elderly groups showed just below. Again, coming the last place group was republicans, reaching at 42%.
