The maps below show Pebbleton 20 years ago and today. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The provided map delineates the difference of Pebbleton between 2 decades ago and recent days. Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the area has been renovated with more residential and offers more access for pedestrians.
The most significant change to the location is the expansion of housing. On the north of the map, the peninsula now has additional accommodations and the old fort has been replaced with a children’s playground and a community center next to it. Meanwhile, the lighthouse on the edge of the northwest remains intact. In the south of the community are new tennis courts that link with a footpath as well as Lighthouse Lane. The peninsula has also built a footbridge that connects with the school (along Coast Road) on the other side of a small river.
The eventual shift is that a film studio on the southwest of the peninsula is presently a block of flats. The areas that have remained the same are the Old Fort Road, a playing field on the southern shore, a Roadbridge, and most of the wooded space around the town.
