The presented process flow diagram describes the manufacturing procedures and preparation of coffee to be sold in superstores and retail shops as well.
Overall, it requires to follow eleven stages of the process to make the coffee to be sold in the shops. The whole process commences with the picking up of the beans and ends with the coffee packs or jars in the hands of customers.
To begin with, the farmer has to pick each and every coffee bean from their respective crop fields. These collected beans are then sprinkled over large and open farmland to be dried up in the sunlight. Following this, after the drying process, the beans are then roasted in an oven over the flames. These hot beans are then cooled at a much higher rate. Then, they pass through a grinder to be converted into a powdered form.
In the subsequent stage, this powder is mixed with water. Furthermore, the impurities are then sifted out of this mixture by a strainer. Followed by freezing down this pure mixture. Then again, it is headed towards the grinder, following that, this grinded powder is now dried by vacuum in a confined space. Finally, the coffee powder is ready to be poured into jars through a hopper. In the end, a sticker is labelled on the jar for the branding of its producing company.
