The presented pie charts illustrates the outcome of questionnaire that was asked to the 100 visitors of the Parkway Hotel to get ratings on to the hotel's customer service, in the years 2005 and 2010.
Overall there were five categories of ratings, ranging from very poor to excellent. Excellent and good ratings had shown a drastic increment percentagewise, whereas, the ratings like poor and very poor had reduced significantly over the 5 years of time.
In 2005, customers were not that happy with service, as only 5% of them had marked excellent in questionnnaire, but this rating showed a drastic change in 2010, as it jumped just above the quater to 28%. In contrast to this, good rating had also experienced a similar trend, as it jumped from only 14% in 2005 to a whooping percentage of 38% in 2010, more than one-third of all visitors.
As the hotel managed to increase the quality of its customer service over the five years of time, thus, the percentage of the ratings like very poor and poor decreased significantly. It was about 15% and 21% back in the year 2005, but in 2010 it got reduced to just 4% and 12% respectively. With respect to this, satisfactory rating had also been decreased over time, from 45% to 17%.
