The flowchart illustrates the production of coloured plastic paper clips in a small factory.
The flowchart depicts how plastic paper clips of different colors are manufactured in a small industrial establishment.
Overall, there are six stages included in this process, which start off with plastic being molten and end with packing and distributing the final products.
Firstly, molten plastic will be provided. Next, the plastic will go through a stage of which the purpose is to have them colorized into one out of three possible colors: red, blue, and yellow. After having been colored, the plastic will then go through quality control. At this stage, machines will ensure the strength of the products. If the quality of which is mediocre, it will be rejected.
The process continues when the qualified paper clips are then sorted out by hand. Subsequently, the decision will be made upon whether the colors of the products should be single or mixed. This will then be double-checked during the second quality control. Finally, the chosen paper clips will be packed and despatched before being put out on the market.
