The 2 plans depict the difference between a room for 1 student and a room for 2 at a university in Australia.
Briefly, the room for two people has much more useful facilities and larger space for living and studying compared to the single one. Therefore, the renting fee of a room for 1 person is lower than the double room's.
A single student room has a length of 6 metres with a width of 2,5 metres. Inside this room, there is a large bathroom in the left-hand corner, next to it is a study desk which is put near a bed. On the opposite side of the bathroom, there is a microwave, a stove, a sink and television. For these facilities, it costs a person 200 dollars per week to rent this room.
Turning to a double student room, except for the same facilities the single room contains, this room is larger and more equipped with other devices. First, near the bathroom, there is a bookshelf, and on the opposite side, there are 2 cupboards which divide 2 private spaces including a bed and a study desk. Next t the cupboard is a round table and 2 chairs. In the right-hand corner, a microwave, a sink, a stove and a TV still exist with a different arrangement.
