The bar chart illustrates the percentage of common activities that children in different ages in the USA do before going to bedtime.
Overall, children 1 to 3 years tend to do reading and having a bath while 4 to 5 years old and 6 to 9 years old often do reading and brushing teeth.
First of all, the percentage of reading activity takes the highest number in children from 4 to 5 years old, which about 70% and followed by children 1 to 3 years and 6 to 9 years to 65% and 59% respectively. Secondly, 50% of children 6 to 9 years old brush their teeth while other groups are lower than half. Thirdly, children from 1 to 3 years old usually having a bath as their bedtime routines take 40%, however, children in two other groups have this figure just over 30% but below 40%.
On the other hand, babies who are about 4 to 5 years and 6 to 9 years watch TV mostly, which to 20% and 19% while only 17% of children 1 to 3 years see TV at night. Finally, 20% of kids around 1 to 3 years old do eating as their bedtime routines while the group 4 to 5 years is just about 10% and the figure ò eating in the age 6 to 9 years is under 10%.
