The maps below describe the differences of a city between 1950 and the present day.
In general, the most striking changes are the expansion of the number of citizens as well as economic, private, and public infrastructures in size and number. However, the location of the abovementioned remains unchanged.
In 1950, the living area for city dwellers on the north side had a population of 20000 people. The residential area contained the central business district where two thoroughfares running north-south and west-east intersected. One of them led to the airport placed in the southeast of the plan; the other went straight to the south along with the connection of the bridge. Before approaching the government building, there was a river flowing under the bridge separating 2 sides of the plan.
Nowadays, there has been a new appearance of a lake stretching from east to west of the city taking water sources in from the river in the west and releasing water at a dam built near the airport in the southeast. A new business district has been created after crossing the bridge. Another change has been a new and larger government building placed on the southern edge of the city. Moreover, another main road runs from the west has been built and cut across with two thoroughfares. This creates another way that leads to the airport which has been resized significantly southward. The residential area has expanded ten times than its former size in 1950 with a population of 200000 people.
