The diagram illustrates the manufacturing process of instant noodles. Overall, there are 8 stages, commencing from transportation of flour from storage silos and ending with labelling and sealing the final products.
To commence with, flour is transported from large storage containers to a mixer which contains water and oil. The ingredients are mixed into a dough before being transferred onto the rollers. The dough is rolled between 5 rollers to achieve the desired thickness of the dough sheets which is then passed through a cutting machine in order to convert them into strips.
Next, the strips are rolled into discs and passed over an oiled heated plate, so that the noodles are dried without burning. These dried discs are forwarded to the cups station where they are put into cups followed by the addition of ingredients like vegetables and spices. Finally, in the last stage, the filled cup noodles are labelled and sealed in the labels station.
