This chart shows the top eight honeymoon destinations for newlywed British couples in 2010. The results come from a survey of 5,000 couples.

The given chart gives information about eight famous places for 5000 British newly-married couples to spend their honeymoon in 2010.
Overall, the number-one honeymoon destination was Thailand, as opposed to The Lake District, which was at the bottom of the list.
Thailand and Bali were the most popular places, with around 1410 and 1335 couples respectively. Ranked in third place was Costa Rica, which was half as attractive as Thailand, with almost half of the number of couples visited in 2010. Next came the Maldives, when about 600 couples said they prefered visiting the Maldives for their honeymoon.
In the last place was The Lake District, with only 124 out of 5000 couples surveyed, whereas nearly 150 couples who were asked said they would prefer to fly to Spain to spend their honeymoon. Just over 200 couples who were surveyed believed that Paris was an ideal destination for their honeymoon. This was followed by The Greek Islands, approximately 450 couples who decided to put in an appearance at this place for their honeymoon.
