The graphs below show the types of music albums purchased by people in Britain according to sex and age.
The three graphs show the proportion of people, divided by genders and age, bought different types album in Britain.
Overall, Pop Music and Rock Music are the most popular music for Britain people. For both genders and ages, however, people who above age 45+ have not many. In contrast, 45+ Britain people buy more Classical Music among all ages below 45+ and Males and Females.
It is evident that Pop music and Rock music are really popular for the youngsters and young adults which are holding about 28% of the average. In term of genders, males purchased more music in these three different kind of music than females with approximately 25% of the average. With regards of the Pop Music and Rock Music, the percentage have a slightly differences with about 1%, approximately 30% and 29% for age the 16-24 and 25-34. Furthermore, Britain people, ages from 35-44, percentage of buying Pop and Rock music are similar which about 25%, however, there is a huge differences with classical music with under 5% people buy it.
On the other hands, the senior citizens ,who at the age 45+, purchase more classical music which holds 20%. It can be seen that, teenagers and adults love more Pop and Rock music while the elders prefer classical music.
