The chart below shows the percentage of adults of different age in the UK who used the Internet every day from 2003-2006.
The bar chart depicts how frequent the UK adults from ages browsing the internet on a daily basis between 2003 and 2006.
Overall, it is noticeable that the four years surveyed experienced increases in the percentages of people using the Internet. Additionally, the Internet was most popular in individuals from 16-24 years old, while the elderly who were 65+ had the lowest figures.
Among the five groups of ages, adults who were at the age 25-44 and 45-54 had the most gradual rises by approximately 30% and 20%, respectively. Meanwhile, the percentage for 16-24 years old peaked at 100% in 2004 and fell to 90% in the next year, while the highest point of 55-64 and 65+ groups were in the year 2006, after shrinking slightly in 2004.
The age ranges from 16-24 always had the largest percentages compared to others groups even when it hit a low of 80% in the first two years, which was the peak of both 25-44 and 45-54 groups of ages. The others last ranges of ages were significantly lower with the most remarkable point of people who were 65+ was only 20%.
