Pterosaurs
Some scientists believe that pterosaurs could not be capable of powered flight. According to the passage, cold-blooded, hard to stay in the air and unable to take off from the ground seem to be the purposes, but none of them survive the further scrutiny of lecture.
In the beginning the passage states that Pterosaurs were probably cold-blooded so they would have been unable to generate the energy needed to fly. The lecture disproves that recent research has revealed the pterosaurs may in fact have been capable of powered flight. They had a dense, hair-like covering, somewhat similar to fur. Hair or fur covering is typical of warm-blooded animals so they may have the energy.
The lecture also asserts that the passage is baseless to claim that Pterosaurs were heavy so it’s hard for them to stay in the air using powered flight. The bones of pterosaurs were hollow instead of solid, which would have kept the pterosaurs weight low despite their large body frames. The pterosaurs' weight was probably low enough to allow them to keep themselves airborne by flapping their wings.
After proving the first two theories wrong, the lecture begins to deal with the last assumption of the passage. It states that even the largest pterosaurs would have had no trouble using all four hands and feet to run fast enough or jump high enough to launch themselves into the air.
