The linegraph represents how many foreigners visiting the coast, the moutainous and the lakes in a specific nation in Europe from 1987 to 2007.
Overall, More and more overseas tourists chose these three areas as their destination for their holiday. Among them, the coast was the most attractive tourist attraction over the years shown except the year 2022.
In 1987, starting at 40.000 people, the coast attracted highest number of people. This figure was 4 times higher than that of the lakes. From 1987 to 1992, while there was a slight decrease in the quantity of travellers to the coast, the opposite trend was for the lakes. From 1992 onwards, the coast witnessed a dramatic rise to about 75 thousand in 2007 and became the most favorite destination of the foreign visitors. On the contrary, after enormous jump to reach the peak at about 75 thousand visitors, the lakes experienced a steeply drop to 50 thousand in 2007.
With reference to the mountains, In 1987 with 20 thousand, the moutain ranked the second after the coast in the number of foreign travellers. Over the period of 20 years, there was a considerable fluctuation in this figure. In the final year, I lost its attraction and became the least favorite destination of people.
