The two maps give information about the changes in the layout of the British city of Felixstone between 1967 and 2001.
In general, the layout of Felixstone has significantly changed with additional services and the loss of several areas. The town changed to a sea tourism area.
Farmland was located behind the shop to the east of the High Street completely replaced and redeveloped by a new hotel, a swimming, and two tennis courts. Two large shops were on two sides of the road, and the golf course experienced no change.
The fish market on the other side of the road has also been replaced by a
private beach, while the marina pier near the shore opened in place of a public beach. The coffee shop and the hotel remained, and the dune reduced in size next to the new parking lot. Finally, near the seashore, a range of wind turbines was installed.
