About 32 pence was used by British middle income earners while the low income earners spent below 15 pence per person, which was the lowest spending on hamburger.
In contrast, the fish and chips mostly consumed by the average income earners (at 25 pence) whilst other two income earners have spent the exactly the same amount (15 pence each).
Lastly, pizza was the least favourite fast food among UK citizens as it recorded at 20 pence, 12 pence and about 7 pence for high income earners, middle income brackets and low income earners, respectively.
As it is observed from the graph, the consumption for fish and chips increased drastically since 1980 to reach at its highest of 500 grams at the end of the projected period, which trends can be found for hamburger as well except it kicked in the trend in 1985 to reach at 300 grams by the end. Meanwhile, the consumption for pizza decreased by more than 100 grams from 300 grams consumed initially.
