The maps below show a beachfront area in Australia in 1950 and today
Given are the two maps delineating the modifications of a seafront zone after a course of time, commencing from 1950 until now.
Perceptibly, the region has experienced moderate transformations with the elimination of the playground along with the addition of myriad amenities.
In 1950, the road went from west to east reaching the car park in the north of the map; however, it has been extended all the way to the lighthouse in the southeast. Furthermore, the playground in the west has been replaced by the new car park while the nearby dining tables and the pavilion have remained.
In the past, there were two swimming pools with 25m in length in the west and the east; nevertheless, after years of development, only the pool on the left has been expanded double in size. Additionally, the two surf clubs have been constructed adjacent to each pool while the restaurant has been newly added to the furthest west.
