Average hours of unpaid work per week done by people in different categories
The bar graphs elucidate the information about the hours spent on housework per week by the gender (female and male), who are in different categories.
It is noticeable that women engaged more hours to complete non-paying jobs. In comparison, regardless of number of children in the family, the married men had used the similar hours to finish no income driven tasks.
Nearly one hour a week had contributed to deal with housework for the married women with more than three children. The average hours spent by the married women with one to two children was not far behind of those for with three children of around 50 hours. The least hours engaged in non-paying jobs were females without any children of around 30 hours.
The married men, on the other hand, took less than 20 hours to do unpaid work whether they have no children or more than three children.
There was a huge gap between males and females to do the unpaid tasks by the household with more than three children. The married women spent tripled the hours to do housework compared to those of males.
