The graph gives information about coffee production in 4 different countries from 1990 to 2010
The bar graph compares the coffee yield in 4 separate nations over a period of 20 years, starting from 1990.
Overall, except for Colombia, it is evident that most countries experienced a steady increase in coffee production. Additionally, throughout the period shown, Brazil succeeded in maintaining its position as the top nation for the amount of coffee produced while Vietnam tended to make the least amounts.
Looking at the chart in more detail, in 1990, a minor difference of around 0.1 million tonnes was seen in the production of coffee in Brazil and Columbia. Moreover, producing 0.2 million tonnes, Indonesia’s coffee yield was twice as much as that of Vietnam. Five years later, coffee producers in Brazil boosted their production to 1 million tonnes while Columbia was the nation whose amount of coffee produced experienced an insignificant decrease. Meanwhile, both Indonesia and Vietnam underwent no variation in their coffee production.
In the remaining years of the period, Brazil’s coffee yield witnessed noticeable growth, causing it to reach its peak of 1.9 million tonnes in 2010. By contrast, at 0.3 million tonnes, Columbia coffee producers lost half of their production at the end of the period. In addition, a minor but stable increase in coffee production in Indonesia and Vietnam was recorded.
