Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? In twenty years there will be fewer cars in use than there are today. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
Most people in the world think that in future the number of cars used will declined. Personally, I strongly agree with this statement. There are several reasons why I believe in former argument, which I will demonstrate further in the following essay.
First and foremost, there might be a decrease in car number as the result of the improvement in public transportation system. Nowadays, the transportation system is being developed fast. In the future, the transportation network will be much denser than it's used to be. Hence, the complex transport destination creates a chance for people to be more convenient in choosing means to move between wanted location. As the result, people tend to prefer using public rather than their personal car.
Secondly, the public transport vehicles are being more modern and convenient. Future public vehicles will be designed to contain more people as well as provide more convenient services. Therefore, people are likely to be attracted to using public transportation. Their experience will gradually increase over time.
Third, diesel cars are well-known for their harm on environment, thanks to the invention of electric car, more and more people are going to willing to choose it. Some people might argue electric cars which do not release any polluted gas, will be more accessible in the future. However, this is an untrue statement. The process of making electric car's battery is using a chemical which is limited and costly. Moreover, this procedure even more toxic than making a diesel car. Therefore, the environment lovers are likely to stay away from contributing into electric cars, not to mention diesel car.
In conclusion, I strongly support the statement that number of cars used in future will see a huge decrease. This is because of the improvement of public transportation system, vehicle and the raise in environment awareness.
