In many organizations, perhaps the best way to approach certain new projects is to assemble a group of people into a team. the professor disagrees with this idea. why?
Many organizations substitute to the idea of making people into groups for certain projects. They believe having a team offers many advantages. The lecturer, on the other hand, disagrees with the points paragraph is making under the following given reasons.
First reason being the wider range of knowledge, expertise, and skills a group can reach than the individuals. They will also work faster and way more coefficient. Professor explain that after six months of trying said approach, every team had a free ride individual and the ones that tried hard on the task in hand were not satisfied given that no names were named and their job was took for granted. Also it did not help with the speed of the work, since the workers spent too much time to make consciences and took them too long to make groups.
Secondly, chances of a group making creative and risky decisions is way more possible than when they are working apart. the teacher believes that's a false idea since in the company when an idea didn't work the members dropped it immediately and took on a new path.
Third, team work tends to be rewarding for the people taking part in it. They are given a voice to carry out their arguments and not feel that they are just doing the job that was given to them by someone else. professor explains that in the given example whenever some members believed the solution doesn't work others ignored them and carried on.
