The graph illustrates how average monthly in prices of three metals: Copper, Nickel and Zinc changed in 2014.
Overall, the share of Nickel remarkably dropped, the proportion of Cooper had a similar change, but to lesser extent. On the other hand, the percentage of the Zinc was rise marginally.
The share of Nickel started at 6% in January, then declined dramatically to 1% in March, followed by another rapid decrease to -3% in the middle of the year. Similarly, it can be seen a steady downward of the Cooper's proportion, from 2% in January to -0.5 in June. Conversely, in the first month of the year there was a gradual growth of Zinc's the percentage, from 1% to 3%, after which was a declined fluctuation, then arrived at the lowest point of -1% during the year.
After hit a trough in June, all the proportion of Nickel, Zinc and Copper were rose slightly to around -1 (Nickel and Zinc) and 1% (Cooper), followed by a stable remain onward September. During the three months final, the percentage of Nickel and Zinc increased negligibly to 1% and 2% while the share of Cooper reached 1.5% at the final.
