The line chart compares the overall price movements in the prices of copper, nickel and zinc of every month in 2014.

In summary, nickel prices saw a significant increase until May before experiencing fluctuations and ultimately leveling off and the prices of zinc in the opposite trend. Moreover, the lowest prices of three metals is in June .

According to the line graph, we can see that the change in prices of nickel is the highest in January, nickel’s price notably rose in May, reaching approximately a 6% increase. However, the trend in prices of nickel becomes the lowest from the trends varied, with some months showing a decrease, notably in October, and also is the smallest fluctuations in December (1%).

It is clear that the changes in prices of zinc and copper are not big. Compared to the preceding month, the price of zinc is on an increasing trend, which accounts from 1% to 2% in 2014, while the lowest change in price in June(-1%). Additionally, the price of copper showed slight variations. In 2014, showing minor fluctuations between 2% and 1.5%, the lowest price is in June(-0.5%).
