The diagram illustrates how plastic bottles are recycled. It is clear that the recycling process includes nine primary stages, from the initial collecting to the eventual producing end products.
At the first stage, used bottles in the recycle ‘bank’ will be collected by trash cars. After that, these bottles will be sorted by hand according to the types of material, which can be recycled or which cannot. Sorted bottles in recycling centers will be compressed into blocks to be the materials for the next process. The crushing machine grinds the blocks to pieces that be washed then.
The six and seven stages involved in producing and heating plastic pellets. The obtained pieces fed in a machine to create the proper size to heat and form raw materials. These materials will be stored in the factories and will be recycled to produce some products such as new bottles, pencils, bags or even clothes. After using those products, they are then collected and the new cycle happen.
