The bar chart compares five cities in Australia in terms of coffee and tea buying and drinking habits of their residents.
It is clear that the percentage of residents who bought fresh coffee was the lowest in five Australian cities. Overall, inhabitants preferred going to a café for coffee or tea to buying instant coffee.
Looking at the percentage of city residents who bought fresh coffee, we can see that people in Sydney had the highest proportion, at around 44%, while the lowest figures for Brisbane and Adelaide stood at about 34%. Furthermore, Sydney, Melbourne and Hobart had the highest number of people who went to café to drink coffee or tea, at 61%, 64%, 63% respectively.
People in Adelaide tend to drink or buy coffee and tea with the lowest percentages. In other four cities, we can also see that the percentage of people who buy instant coffee in the last four week had the second positions in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Hobart, with the respective figures were 46%, 48%, 53%, and 54%.
