A glance at the provided table illustrates the percentage of water utilization in three sectors in six different countries in 2003. In general, it is clearly apparent that most of the nations used considerably amount of water for industrial purpose.
Looking in more detail from the table, industrial sector was the main reason for water utilization in France which recorded at 40% while the USA, the UK and Germany only consumed 30% to 35% of water for the same purpose. Canada and China, on the other hand, pushed more of their water consumption for agriculture need compared to the other sectors which were calculated at 50% and 40%, respectively. Interestingly, the USA also spent water at the same percentage as manufacturing for agriculture need while the UK utilized their water at the same industrial proportion for domestic field. Finally, although Germany significantly consumed water for manufacturing, its domestic water used contributed more at 40%.
