UK telephone calls, by category, 1995-2002
The bar chart compares amount of times of telephone calls into three different categories in UK, over a period of 7 years.
It is clear from graph that minute in telephone calls made with national and International line and Mobiles increased our a period of time. While, time spend on local line for communication was highest all over 7 period of time.
In 1995, above 10 billion minutes was spend in calls using local fixed line, while billion and only about 2 billion minutes were Spend using National and International Line and Mobiles respectively. Interesting the number of minutes increased significant for all three categories with 90,50 and over 10 billion minutes till 1999.
After 1999, the figure fell for local call to same as 1995 level above 70 billion minutes. Whereas, continuous rise was seen in the figure for national and international and mobile call, accounting for 60 and 45 billion minutes respectively in 2002.
