While the given line chart illustrates the proportion of full time workers holding a university degree in Australia, the table shows information about the mean earning of both kinds of graduates from 2004 to 2012.
Overall, it can be seen that the rate of math graduates and all graduates having full-time jobs share the same patterns, while the number of math graduates being employed for full-time position was higher than those of all graduates. In addition, the total average income of two types of gradutaes exhibited an upward trend all over the period.
Regarding the first graph, in 2004, around 80% of math graduates got full-time jobs, compared to all graduates, only 65%. In 2006, the figure for math graduates increased slightly by 10%, before decreasing sharply to 80% at the end of the period. Meanwhile, the rate of all graduates having full-time jobs rose to around 83% in 2008, then experiencing a dramatic decline to only 68% in 2012.
In term of their average salary, the mean earning of math graduates and all graduates are the same, at 41000 dollars each. The same figure was also showed in 2006 when both sorts of graduates earn 43000 dollars each. The salary in both aforementioned type of graduates rose to reach their peak in 2012, at 56000 and 51000 dollars respectively.
