The hot debated issue whether all large coporations equipped local community with sports and community facilities or not is still controversial. This essay will delve into explaining the reasons why I agree with first point of view
First of all, large firms should invest in the infrastructure of the local communities for the sake of its own benefits. It is obvious that most of the citizens in the areas where the companies locate are somehow their employees. Only when their standard of living such as healthcare service, school for their children, transportation systems, recreation centres and shopping malls are built, will they pay full attention to their work. They, therefore, work more productively and gain more profits their companies. As a result, the owners of the coporations will be richer and richer.
In addition, the mamagers should focus on improving their workers's and the inhabitans in the neighborhood's health by setting up more and more sports centres or organizing mor sports club. They can support all these places by providing some sports facilities. It cannot be denied that, in the development of advanced technology, with the help of smart devices, people no longer do manual job so hard. Moreover, they tend to sil all day in front of the computer screen without much physical activities. Under work pressure and a hetic schedule make them have no spare time for doing work-out. If there is a sport centre or just a gym near their work place, this will boost them to practice physical exercise. As their healh improves, they will have more energy to work, whiich is proved their working products will be more efficient.
In conclusion, with all above explanation, I am of the opinion that equipping sports and community facilities to the local area should be partly the responsibility of large firms not only for the community's sake but also their own benefit.
