The reading passage and the speaker discussing the about the advantages and the disadvantages of Beavers but in different ways.
Firstly, reading passage says that the Beavers is very helpful the environment, it helps in both ways like storing the water resources for human being as well as it forming field. But the Lecturer argues this point by stating that because of storing of more water it may causes flood and can destroys the forming land.
Secondly, reading passages states that because of the Beavers we can get biodiversity species in this lands like plants and animals. But the professor contrast this point by saying that increase the water level may causes the roots of the trees submerge in water which leads roots to die. That way whole the trees will die in that area and the coverlet under the roads and railways tracks get damages due to the excessive water which may cover these coverlet and damages it.
Thirdly, reading passage suggests that apart from benefit of water resources, it may be helpful in cultivating the fishes and the fishes will reduce the speed of water and it prevents the flood in future when there is more water sources. But the professor argues this point by explaining that the beavers and the dam may leads problem to fishes because they can not move the such strong force of against water and they cannot forward direction which causes damages to the fishes. And moreover sediment which is dirty particles in the water and moreover, it disturb the environmental condition.
Finally, the Beavers will not helps the environmental condition like water resources, farming, biodiversity and cultivation of fishes according the speaker. He totally against the reading passages which states all benefits of Beavers and dam.
