The Eropean educatin system
The reading passage is about European education system that has been useing also in united states.
in this system, students should go to primary school for 5 years, then they srart intermediate school untill the age of 11 or 12, and then they are coducted to high schools. at the end of high school they receive Diploma.
The listening passage counts some weaknesses and cones for the European education system .
According to reading passage, children must begin to school at the age of six. But the man claims that, all children are not ready to strat and adapt with a systematic education, in this age, also, boys and girls have some differences in their maturity, yet, these various abilitis and skills are denied in European sastem.
second, the professor believes that, asessment system in this European system is not fair, because just one equal standsrd is the criteria to pass a year or not. the learning diffrences in teenagers such as learning styles or timing are not considered. Thus it is not ideal to repeat a whole year just far falling in some materials.
at the end, as the lecturer explains, the European education system have some defects and is not perfect.
