the best way for a socety to prepare its young people for leadership in government, industry, or other fields is by instilling in them a sense of cooperation, not competition.
The saying, united we stand and divided we fall is true in each and every sense for the entire upliftment of the socitey. A socitey imparting morals on the youth to cooperate with each other will achieve great success in a small span compared to other socities who demand a competition amongst the youth. I completely agree with the given statement that, the best way for a socitey to prepare its young people for leadership in government, industry, or other fields is by instilling in them a sense of cooperation, not competition. The youth of a nation are the pillars of the nation who fortify the future of the socitey. If they are made to compete with each other, there is a complete possibility that the future of the socitey would be a debacle rather than being a success. A socitey will be gauged on the welfare of its people. For that very reason, the leaders should cooperate with each other which will assure the success of the socitey. Countries like Pakistan have made the people revolt against the governemt for their rights inculcating into failure of the nation whereas, people of USA always support and abide to the government and hence have achieved greater heights in all aspects.
Firstly, a socitey who wants to achieve success in the fields of government and industry should instill a sense of cooperation amongst the youth because when people work with the attitude of achieving the similar goals, they surely succeed. Because they support each other. For instance, India which was ruled by britishers before 1947 and people in India had to face many hardships to be independent. But when people came together, they articulated their thoughts and they revolted against the britishers by adapting non cooperation and non violence movements, which helped them to succeed.
Secondly, as per the abbrevation of TEAM, together everyone achieves more is true in all aspects. When everyone works in unison and harmony they succed at a very rapid rate. I support my agreement to the given statement with this point.
Thirdly, when people have different and diverging opinions, everyone becomes adamant to prove his point right and contradicts the oppositions point which inculminates into the fiasco of the socitey in political and industrial aspects. For instance, the congress party was the ruling party in India for past 40 years, but recently, in the greed of competition amongst the political leaders to acquire the pivotal position, they failed miserably. Whereas, BJP the other leading party had the opinions of unison and hence they flourished and became the ruling party in the recent elections.
To, conclude, a socitey who has instilled the sense of competition amongst the youth will make them think in different ways. Which will make their position prone to failure. Thus, for achieving great heights in industry and politics, a society should impart the sense of cooperation amongst the youth and not a sense of competition,
