The mentioned bar graph illustrates the comparison between the data about the variation occurred in prices of houses in five cities namely: Tokyo, London, New York, Madrid and Frankfurt over the period from 1992 to 2002 and 1989.
Overall, as is represented by the graph, changes in price of house in London was dominant, while Tokyo had relatively low ratio of change during 1996 to 2002. However, the scenario was completely different in duration of 1990 to 1995, where Frankfurt had the highest ratio, whereas exactly same variation can be noticed in London as well as Tokyo.
It is evident that in 1990 to 1995 Frankfurt encountered the highest change of nearly 3% whereas, London and Tokyo accounted same proportion approximately 7% of change. Similarly, in Madrid the variation was mere with the figure of around 2%, but in New York the price declined by 5%.
However, between 1996-2002 the price of houses in New York considerably increased and had the change of 5% . Similarly, largest change was observed in London, which accounted more than 10 % of hike in price. But, the houses in Frankfurt were comparatively cheaper with the change of nearly 3%. Moreover, the value of houses in Tokyo was the lowest one and had decrement of 5% in average price.
