The text states that a travel to Mras is not possible like former manned travel travel to the moon. Conversely, the professor believes that it is absoloutely challenging, but nop impossible. He offers three counter-arguments to demonstrate weaknesses of each presumptions provided by the text on inpracticality of a trip to the Mars.
The first paragraph asserts that the travel to the moon took only afew days but for the ars is it takes two years, and it is not possible to carry required supplies. In contrast, he lecturer mentions that Hydroponic cultivation can solve this problem. She explain that in this method plants root will be placed on the water instead of soil, and this have many benefits. It can feed them, and likewise in this way they can recycle the wasteater and use it as drinking water. Moreover plants release oxygen which makes fresh air to astrounants. This directly contradicts the first assumption of the text.
The second part of the reading points out that scientist experience prolonged presence in the zero-gravity environment and this is dangerous for their health. The professor disproves this theory by suggesting that there are many astronounts in the space stations which is orbitting the earth, and that specific strategies solev this problem. For instance there are some kinds of exercises and some special diets which avoids adverse effects of this phenomena.
The last portion of the text says that spacecarft are not protected from radiation that comes from the Sun and it is dangerous for scientist. Once again, the lecturer rejects this reason. He emphasizes that eventhough the solar radiation are dangerous for health, they are not a serious concern in a space travel. He continues that, solar radiation does not happend always and a device can detect them. If a shelter space be designed, astronouts can go in it in space can be designed in the
