The graph shows the percentage of English and French- language teachers who found job in Ontario between 2001 and 2007, after their graduation.
At the beginning of this period, the percentage of teachers was about 70 percent even though English teachers were a little more successful than French teachers. In 2002 there was a significant fall from 70 percent to 55 percent.
However, the graph shows a great change in 2003, when the percentage of French teachers rose to nearly 70 percent. This trend has not changed as much until 2007, when it rose again to 75 percent.
On the other hand, the percentage of English teachers fell considerably to 40 percent in 2003. Then there was a slight increase of 4 percent in 2005 before a significant fall to 27 percent in 2007.
Overall, it can be seen how the recruitment of French teachers in Ontario has increased from 2001 to 2007, as opposed to English teachers over the same period.
