The graph below shows information about the recruitment of teachers in Ontario between 2001 and 2007. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The given illustration summarises details about the employment of two types of language teachers in Ontario over an interval from 2001 to 2007.
Overall, what stands out from the graph is that the most significant change came from the English-language teachers category, while the figure for French-language teachers was almost unchanged throughout the period shown.
An in-depth look in the chart shows that in the year 2001, about 70 percent of French-language teachers were recruited, while the English-language teachers proportion was just a bit higher, about 72 percent. However, in the next two years, the rate of English-language teachers with regular teaching jobs decreased considerably by 32 percent. At the same time, the figure for French-language teachers underwent a slght drop to just over a half in 2002 then recovered immediately to nearly 70 percent afterwards.
It can be seen that from the year 2003 onwards, the proportion of French-language teachers with consistent teaching jobs fluctuated until 2007 when the category ended up to approximately 72 percent. Meanwhile, from 2003 to 2005, an upward trend was witnessed in the portion of English-language teachers. However, after a substantial fall in the next two years, merely 29 percent of teachers that teach English had jobs in schools and academies.
