Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter regarding your consideration of the closure of our community sports and leisure center. The closure of this important facility can have detrimental and irreversible negative consequences on the living standard of the residents of this council.
The sports and leisure center is regularly visited by my friends and family as it provides us an opportunity to not only socialise but also to keep in good health by regularly exercising using the available exercise equipments and playing the physical games such badminton and basketball.
It is imperative to realise that shutting down such beneficial service will have adverse impact on the local public as the residents of this small town already have less number of health and social activities. The general public of this town are going to suffer due to lack of physical activities as it will give rise to number of serious health problems such as obesity and heart diseases. In addition to that, it will increase the risk for our youth to get involved in the wrongful activities to entertain themselves leaving an overall negative impact on the society.
Keeping in view the above concerns, it is requested to kindly remove the idea of the cessation of this highly valuable facility.
